Day# 2 : On Koh Phangan...

First picture of the day...it's the view from my bed through the window... took it before I got up. (Of course, I have my camera with me even when I am sleeping!!)

Our hut...670 baht/night...with one bed for two...a ceiling fan...2 towels...and a mosquito net provided.

I thought it would be a cloudy day when I saw the sky..but I was wrong... The sky was so clear and so beautiful...too!!!

Sun rised..already when we got up...but not many people woke up...

I don't know who did this...but I found this poor little fish in the early morning...and I think it just got killed!!! (but I didn't see any suspect around though)

Jo's feet...of course it was taken by herself!!!

Not mine...just saw it...and took the picture. I didn't do anything much there...only swimming...eating...sleeping...and taking photos...

I thought he was dead...but he was just sleeping...I think he was having a very good time on the beach like us!!!

A bit too dark...because there was not much light at that moment...but I can't do anything...

I think the sky colour was nice...and with the shadow from the coconut trees...it would be a nice picture... Do you agree?

I have so many pictures during sunset...most of them look similar...but I have many...so you have to see many!!!

Almost sunset...but at this beach, we can't see the sunset...as it's on the sunrise side!!!

I was waiting for my dinner....and I think I should take some pictures. This is one of them.

I'm too lazy...

As I didn't have enough sleep from the long journey back to Bangkok..and I went straight to work...so I'm too lazy to put more photos today...
Please be patient with me...I promise I will post more tomorrow! I promise..

Day # 1: On 25th August...

The first view I got when I was on the ferry to the island...in the morning...it's not very far from the mainland's pier...

Finally arrived to Koh Phangan!!! After a very long journey...by bus and ferry boat...13.5 hours...from Bangkok!!!

Our beach!! It's called "Tong nai pan noi" beach that means Mr. Pan's stomach, small beach. (There is another beach next to this one called "Tong nai pan yai"...yai means big, noi means small.)

What we and others at this beach did all day is...to indulge oneself with the sun, sand and the sea... Oh!!! and the book plus pretty girls in bikini for me...

The sky was full with stars...so we just sank ourselves on the beach after our first dinner here... It was a real starry night!!

300 photos...

From this 4 days 3 nights trip to Koh Phangan, I took 300 photos in total!! Exactly that number, no more no less...300 pictures... We will see how many that will be posted.

Jane is back!

Sleepy..tired...3 hours on boat and 10 hours on bus...arriving this morning....going straight to office and work!! oh....
I will show the pics later when I get home this evening....ahh....Just let you know..I'm still alive...happily alive too.. :-)

My 2 new books...

I got 2 new books yesterday...I was looking for another book but...it was sold out!!! So I got these two books instead...

1. Incendiary by Chris Cleave
2. The File On H. : A Novel by Ismail Kadare

I hope I will enjoy reading my books and getting suntan back next week!!! ;-)

Go for a movie again..

Going to see 5x2 tonight..with Jo... but before going for movie, I will go buy some books first... mmm...that's the plan for this evening!!

Gardening Sunday....

Tomorrow...I'm going to buy plants....and everything..for our garden!!
So exciting.. :-)
I love to see more green and other colours from flowers.. tomorrow..we can make our garden a paradise!!
But..I'll be broke after that..... oi.....

Another quiet Friday...

Very quiet...the sky is dark..cloudy...all the bosses are not in office... the traffic is very light.
I love my Friday to be like this.... quiet and peaceful...and I'm so full from my lunch...mmm...a bit sleepy...

I'm an Auntie (once again!!!!)

The baby girl named Kielo..she was born on 10.08.2005 at 14:44 PM (Finnish time) at 2670 g and 47 cm... Her name is from both father Mika and mother Kea... it's a name of Finnish flower (That's what I heard of...)

And Kielo...5 days old...she is so lovely right? Little cute angel...

Watched a movie...

Yesterday..with Jo again...We went to see the movie Crash...I liked this movie...I really liked it. Did you see it? You should go see it... You will like it too...
Next program..should be French movie "5x2"... Oh! I am waiting for "Charlie and Chocolate factory" too...

I had a weird dream...

Last night..I dreamed of snow...snow flakes falling on my face... I remember that I felt so happy seeing that...I looked up on the sky and it's at dusk...the sky was dark blue...but very clear. In my dream, I felt that it's cold..icy when the snowflake touched my cheek...
I don't remember the other things in my dream...I only remember this...and I felt really good...very happy..in my dream...

New experience!!

It's my first time to try..fresh oyster!! and it turned out very good!! I liked it!! As I was in Suratthani..it's very famous in fresh oysters..biggest in Thailand!!! So..I shoudl trty when I was there...right? And I can guarantee...their oysters are really good!!! I can eat fresh oyster now!! :-) What a new experience!! A good one too!!!

Nature explorer's trip in Suratthani...

The creek where I jumped into....the water was very cold...but it was so great to put yourself in the water!!! Whooo....hoo!!!
