Roadtrip in 24 hours!!!

Yeah.. I left my home last night for office at around 9 pm. and the leave from Bangkok to Mukdahan (The second friendship bridge between Thai-Lao) to cover the accident, the crane broken down killed 1 Japanese engineer and other 3 Japanese staff missing in Meh Kong river since yesterday... then we drove to Ubon ratchatani to feed the footage...and rush back to bangkok within today.. and we arrived office around 10.15 pm... so it's 24 hours trip for me...and the total distance we travelled in this 24 hours road trip is 1400++ km.!!!!
Can you imagine that I couldn't sleep? Cuz you can't sleep while sitting in the car...inconvenience...and The most fun part of this roadtrip is..we had to drive through the heavy rain storms all the way up to Mukdahan and on the way back to bangkok too!!
I do have photos to prove you.... but..I'm not the camera person... so we will wait for BBsan to give his photos to me, then I can post them here!

Have you ever...

Have you ever imagined the worst scene of accident when you're in underground train? I did have it this morning while I was on the way to office. I imagined the train I was on crash...or hit the bomb. And then I was thinking of myself...figuring how to save myself from getting injured..I did even think of which position I should do...of which direction I should bump into to save myself!! Oh!!! and I looked around to find the emergency exit and all emergency buttons... Am I too panic or paranoid? Well...I also thought of saving myself and then using my digital camera to catch all the incident scenes... So I also thought of what should I do to save both myself and my camera... mmm... I think I am weird... Have you ever thought the same?

It's a boy!!!

Yeah!!! A baby boy...so cute!!! I went to see Jiraporn and her baby today at the hospital... and you can see he is so cute!!!! what a lovely little boy... He looks so soft...and so fragile...that's why I didn't carry him.. I know he could be in danger in my arms!!!

This is some part of the announcement I got in the email from the baby's father... "Jonathan & Jiraporn had a baby boy this morning (17/07/05) at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok. We don't have a name for him yet - but he came into the world feet-first weighing 3.36 kilos, and seems a fine wee lad....."

He is so cute!!!!! Don't you think so?

He doesn't have a name yet.... but he will soon..

Happy family on a happy moment!!

Lebanese lunch!

Yeah...if you want your privacy...and don't want anyone to come close to you within 2 meters...Try Lebanese food!!! Their food is really made of garlic! lot of garlic...ahh...Can you smell it when I'm talking? or just walking by? hehe...
We had a farewell party for Somsri, Sankei Shimbun today.... at The Cedar...and now...I smell like garlic!!
P.S. Our choice on Lebanese food today has nothing connected with the bomb blast in Beirut!!

International Drugs Abuse Day in Yangon, 26 June 2005

This is the reason why I was in Myanmar last weekend... Let's talk about drugs!!!

Moises and his original Kyay Ohe...If you are in Vietnam, you have to try Pho..and here in Myanmar..you must try "Kyay Ohe". It's rice noodle soup with minced pork..boiled egg..Burmese style...it's really good!!

Mine is Kyay Ohe wonton (dry one)....no rice noodle..only wonton... and no soup as I ordered it dry!

Slippers....Burmese and slippers...once you go to Burma, you will understand why I said...Burmese and slippers...

I don't know how to explain the thing she is making and selling...it's something people here chew and it makes them having orange teeth, lips... I never tried and will never...

Outside Yangon on a rainy day...

Burmese says..Raining on Saturday never stopped...I had to carry umbrella in one hand and camera in another...to get this pic!!

Yangon suburb...about 16 km from downtown but it took us about 1 hour to get there!! the road is really bad!!!

Mr. Tricycle....He was a little shy to be my model...

There was no accident here...It's just the way they park their bicycles...really..I didn't lie, they came and picked their bike up when the rain stopped...

New Jane...New look!!!

Jane with new hairstyle! Yes! I cut my hair this evening...and also dyed my hair with copper blonde...but it came out like reddish brown...so disappointed!!! -- I look stupid in this pic anyway!!!

I did try to make my face looks like a girl...but I know I do look like a boy...sigh...

Even you don't like my new look...I can be happy by myself anyway!

Another new look...
