A Blind World
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind." - Mahatma Gandhi
I've been reading news...from many websites the whole morning and most of the news is about War.
Big news on most of the news sites is Israel and Palestine... how many eyes both sides have taken?
Another news is that Russia PM, Putin ordered to hunt down the killers of 4 russian diplomats who were kidnapped because the kidnappers wanted Russia to release muslim prisoners and move out from Chechnya. How many eyes were taken and will be taken?
Will there be peace in this almost blind world?

Time for Chocomousse!!
I had this chocomousse last Friday....mmm....still remember how it feels like when it touched my tongue
soft....sweet....smell of chocolate....
mmmmm......
Koala and misti, are you ready for this? Let's GO!
Reunion Once again...
Or you can just call it a dinner with highschool friends in Bangkok (there are more but they didn't join with so many reasons and excuses)
Well...at least we can make it 10! Me, Kluay, Aey (the reason why we were there for but we are not the reason why she came to BKK!!!), Ying, Kuk, Toey, Meao, Dong, Wub and Bomb...
The restaurant we went is Koh Lanta...the food is quite good (I can say it's better than the one we went last time huh?) but their menu is not so various... well... we never go back to same restaurant anyway (They don't want us back either, I guess, we were so loud and annoying..hahaha)
For those who are in Hatyai...come to BKK more often, so you will have the chance like this with us!! Ok?? Come....come....

Yesterday after work, I went to sauna and then shopping! I just felt so bored, I needed to do something.... like you can imagine. I go shopping!
What did I get? Ahhh.... it's a pair of shoes!!! It's for the wedding in July in Netherlands.... Tell me what you think? (I know I sound so woman... but I'm a woman!)
What do you think of my new shoes?

Ray Ray for Tea
Tea with Ray Ray -- Oolong tea after lunch during conversation with Ray Ray...What a nice combination.
Fourplay
Let's play this meme, I got tagged by may a while ago...I was just lazy. I'm sorry. Today it's time to do something cool! Something I should... it's fourplay!
Let's get started!
Four jobs I would stink at:
1. Dish washer (I hate washing dishes but I would love to do Satellite Dish washer though)
2. Singer (for everyone else's sake)
3. Hunter (don't want to kill any creature)
4. Bush's secretary
Four pretend nicknames I’m making up for myself:
1. Creature Called Jane
2. Cheeky Monkey Jane
3. Insane Jane (not made up by myself but people call me that)
4. Camel (not because I can survive in desert without water, but I can't survive anywhere without drinking lot of water!)
Four movies I have watched over and over (and did not fall asleep):
1. Pixar's animations
2. Tim Burton's animations
3. Studio Ghibli's animations
4. Chungking Express
Four places I have lived, or want to live:
1. Narathiwat, Thailand (my hometown)
2. Koh Samui, Thailand (been there for 6 months right on the beach)
3. An island where that I run my beach B&B
4. In your heart
Four things I love to do on weekends:
1. Stay in bed until noon with A/C on...me under blanket
2. Eating out
3. Explore new places
4. Watching TV, movies on my couch with big bag or chips
Four alcoholic beverages I’ve enjoyed:
1. Mojito
2. Cuba Libre
3. Red Wines (Cabernet Sauvingon)
4. Vodka + Lime
Four things I could not live without (excluding the essentials):
1. A pen or pencil (and blank paper)
2. Computer with internet access (high speed prefered)
3. Lipgloss
4. What else?
Four of my favourite foods, whom I’d like to bon appetite with:
1. Dim sum with Simple American and his family
2. Calamari with Mike
3. Chocolate mousse with Koala and misti
4. Bulgogi + lots of kimchi with my Kimchi boy - Jeremy
Four places I would rather be right now:
1. On the beach
2. In bed with you
3. At the top of the mountain
4. Under water exploring the ocean world
Four people I’m mercilessly tagging:
No one... I'm just here to pay for my karma!

Father's Day
My father passed away when I was 4 years old, I don't remember much about him.... That's sad...but I always think he is here with me all the time (He did help me in many exams when I was in school) and he will protect me from any evil thing.
Papa...I love you.

TOEFL
Damn....
I didn't do it well....
Blame nobody except myself....
I spent too much time reading for the first passage, so I didn't have enough time to answer all questions and the last question that I missed out...has 2 points!!!
I didn't do it well...on Speaking section either... nor the Writing... I'm doomed.
Oh...well, I can't change anything now.... I have no time to be upset on what I've done. Now I'm just waiting for the scores to come....
Sigh.....
The only reason I felt upset after taking the test is...I'm afraid I have to take the test again and it costs me another 140$US....OMG! It's expensive!!!
*Scores are posted online 15 business days after the test date (with a few exceptions)*
Let's see... next 15 business days (which is on 7th July) is my Judgement Day!!! Oh!!! and I will be in Holland!!! Attending the wedding!!! Oh!!!!!! I will need internet access!!!
Damn!

Beach Yeah! Of Course!
You Should Spend Your Summer at the Beach |
You're a free spirit who is always thinking of new ways to have fun. And you don't just love summer... you live for it. So, you really should blow off your responsibilities and head to the beach! |
The Royal Barge Procession on the 60th Anniversary Celebrations of His Majesty's Accession to the Throne on 12th June.
Subanahongsa: This Royal barge was made from the trunk of a single teak tree. Subanahongsa is the most majestic of all the royal barges.
The Anantanagaraj Barge, 44.85 long with 3.17 m beam and hull 94cm deep. 54 oarsman, 2 steersmen, 2 officers, 1 standard bearer, 1 signalman, 1 chanter and 7 royal insignia bearers.
Even it was raining so hard yesterday but nobody gave up...they were waiting to see the Royal barges.
So many people gathered there at Rama 8 Bridge to see the Royal Barge Procession. We all love our King.

You're A Wonderful One
You are so wonderful
That being near you is all I'm living for
You show me more kindness in little ways
Than I've ever known in all my days
Tell me we'll stay together
Let me love you forever
'Cause you're a wonderful one
You're a wonderful one
In you there is a rare quality
Your love, baby, it means the world
For me you're always concerned
And you ask nothin', baby, in return
You're really more than I deserve
From my heart I mean these words
You're a wonderful one
You're a wonderful one
Oh you're a wonderful one
Baby, you're a wonderful one
Sweetheart, you're a wonderful one
My darlin', you're a wonderful one
Ooo you're a wonderful one
Ooo you're a wonderful one
Mmm hmm you're a wonderful one
Baby, you're a wonderful one
You're really more than I deserve
From my heart I mean these words
You're a wonderful one
You're a wonderful one
Sometimes I'm up, sometimes I'm down
But your love, you're always around
Words of confidence you speak to me
Baby, and you place a tender kiss on my cheek
It makes my burden a little bit lighter
It makes my life a little bit brighter
'Cause you're a wonderful one
You're a wonderful one
Oh you're a wonderful one
Baby, you're a wonderful one

I'm NOT strawberry!!! (It's not my favourite anyway)
You Are Strawberry Ice Cream |
A bit shy and sensitive, you are sweet to the core. You often find yourself on the outside looking in. Insightful and pensive, you really understand how the world works. You are most compatible with chocolate chip ice cream. |
Interview with Jane
As I asked for this interview, here are the 5 questions from Simple American
1. What led you to choose the media as a career?
I work for media because I've studied in media and it's the only thing I can do now, I guess. I could track back to what led me choosing media(Communication Arts) as my faculty in university...The real reason that I put myself in this field because it was the most popular and the coolest faculty to be in at that time. It needed very high scores from Entrance exam. So it's to prove that you're good enough to get into the most famous faculty in the most famous university in Thailand. And I did make it. I was one of Chulalongkorn University Faculty of Communication arts students. That is the path to my career...
At the end of 4th term, I had to make another choice. To choose my major from Public Relations, Advertising, Speech & Performance, Broadcasting, Film & Photography, Journalism, I chose Broadcasting...because I'm not pretty enough to be a PR, I'm not good in marketing to do advertising, I don't like to speak and perform, I didn't want to be a journalist and I chose Film & Photography as my minor.
4 years in university, I've learned a lot. I decided to make media as my career, I loved it, I enjoyed doing it. I remember I told my teacher that I don't want to be a journalist when I accidently got highest scores on Radio/TV news class!!! But I end up being a TV journalist anyway!!! the only one word to say... It's "Destiny"
2. What is the most dangerous happening of your life?
I've not been through many dangerous situations I think... The only thing I can think of for now is when I went on vacation with my highschool friends, we split into 6 small long-tail boats, 5 people each (3 girls and 2 boys in our boat).
We're supposed to go to small islands near Phi Phi islands for snorkeling trip, but the sea was rough, high waves... I remember our boat was the leading boat, as the sea was really rough...I didn't see anything much...but I felt that our boat was flying on every single wave. I closed my eyes...I was so scared... I tried to look for other boats..no boat following us... The other boats decided not to go... They all said it's too dangerous, they turned back to Phi Phi Island.
After 30 minutes (but it was like ages for me), we arrived at the spot...safely. It's the best spot to see coral reefs... so we looked for snorkel gears... we couldn't find them, because they were on the other boat!!! Fuck!!!
Well...we had to stay there on that island until the tide was low and the sea was a little calm... before heading back to Phi Phi without seeing any coral reefs. I found out later from our boat driver that... He wanted to turn back too but it's not possible for him to do. The waves were to high and the sea was too rough for him to make the turn... He said he gotta go straight up only!! He was so scared too!!!
3. Where do you want to visit the most if money is no object and who (only one choice) will you take with you?
I want to travel the world with my mom. Anywhere she wants to go, I will bring her there.
4. What is your dream job?
I want to be like Ian Wright in Lonely Planet...but I will do the photography too! Get paid to travel to all exotic places in the world. Isn't that cool?
5. A seedy individual offers you US$10,000,000 if you destroy exclusive footage of an atrocity. Would you?
I would not. I would try to find how to keep the footage and to get the money though...That's what I would do. Heee...
